Before you join
Common questions about the Northpoint buyer network.
How much is membership?
The investor membership is $299 per year. Local professional services, transaction costs, financing, title work, property management, repairs, or other property-specific expenses are separate unless expressly stated.
Does Northpoint pool investor money?
No. The platform is designed around individual buyers making their own property decisions and controlling their own acquisition funds.
Who owns a property if I buy one?
The purchasing buyer or the buyer’s chosen ownership entity owns the property. Northpoint membership itself is not an ownership interest in a pooled portfolio.
Does membership guarantee I will buy a property?
No. Opportunities depend on what local professionals identify, what information can be verified, auction or seller conditions, and whether a property fits your criteria.
Can a local professional bid for me?
Where legally permitted and separately agreed, a qualified local professional may be able to provide auction or acquisition representation. The exact arrangement, authority, and compensation should be documented directly with that professional.
Does Northpoint guarantee property values or returns?
No. Values, rents, repair estimates, and other financial figures are assumptions or third-party information unless specifically identified otherwise. Buyers should verify the information they rely on.
Can I join if I live outside Alabama?
The network is designed to help remote as well as local buyers review opportunities. Whether a specific purchase is practical depends on financing, closing, property condition, local services, and the buyer’s own circumstances.
What happens after I join?
Your buyer profile establishes your buy box. As properties are added to Property Network, the platform can compare them with your criteria and surface relevant opportunities in your Buyer Portal.
